I am a historian/archaeologist by training (Univ. of Arizona) and have worked in this area, and for the Navajo Nation during the past 55 years. Through the Plateau Sciences Society, we have addressed several historical challenges with the assistance of NMHC grants. I have also taught as an adjunct professor at the UNM-Gallup for 32 years. My sixth publication deals with the history of Route 66 through New Mexico (published by Treasure Chest Pub.)
